The Dashaway Company was founded by Stanley Dashew and Charles Blount in 2006 to make this unique device available to the public. The Dashaway Company is an award winning preferred vendor of the International Council on Active Aging and is a proud supporter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.

Stanley Dashew, President.
Stanley A. Dashew has started and developed five companies, including Dashew Business Machines (sold to Hughes Tool Company) and The Dashaveyor Corporation, which was acquired by the Bendix Corp. He also was one of the directors and head officers of IMODCO, which was sold to Amtel Corp. Through these companies and other business, he has pioneered several new technologies in the credit card industry, marine oil offloading terminals, urban mass transit, bow thruster systems, and water purification systems.
Charles Blount, Vice president.
Charles Blount is an exercise physiologist who has worked with patients with disabilities in the Los Angeles area for 10 years. He has worked in the realm of clinical fitness and commercial fitness sales for fifteen years. Among other accomplishments, he is the creator of Pilatesstick, a portable Pilates system.
Sarah Spencer, Assistant Vice President.
Sarah has a background in Nutrition and English from Florida State University. She has worked as an Account Manager and Sales Representative in the medical and technology industries. Sarah joined the Dashaway team in 2006 and serves as a great asset to the Dashaway Company.
Christopher Key, Creative Director.
Chris has over 25 years of experience in media production, graphic design, motion graphics and copywriting for the entertainment, service and health care industries. His ability to clearly communicate concepts with compelling copy and visual imagery are establishing the Dashaway Company at the forefront of the industry.
Jake Kauffman, Media Design Director/Sales Manager
Jake graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a film degree, concentrating in new media production. Jake also brings his extensive experience as a professional event and sports photographer to the table. His talents combined with his dedication and spirit continues to be a great asset to the Dashaway Company.
Rudy Nelson, Director of Operations.
Rudy has 40 years of experience in manufacturing metal goods such as store display fixtures for the Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Burdines, Dillards, and Mervyns. Rudy worked to oversee special projects and value engineering. He has supervised up to 500 employees and since 2007 has been a proud member of the Dashaway Company.
Jean Rowe, Bookkeeper.
Jean has been working with Stanley Dashew for the last 30 years. She has been working for the Dashaway Company since 2006. Jean serves as an integral part of the team.
